I’m Mahshid — a hairstylist and lead educator at deeproots salon in Cedar park based in Austin, TX. I specialize in luxury color services, lived-in color, and extensions that are tailored, dimensional, and rooted in your natural beauty.

I began my training in New York, where I built a strong foundation in advanced coloring and precision technique. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work behind the scenes at both New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week, which deeply shaped my love for this industry and everything it has to offer.

I currently work at Deep Roots, where I also serve as a Lead Educator, mentoring our next generation of stylists and sharing the techniques and values that have shaped my own career.

With over 10 years of experience, my goal is to make every guest feel like the most confident version of themselves — whether you're in my chair for a total transformation or just a touch-up. I believe intentional techniques, and creating an elevated salon experience from start to finish.

When I’m not behind the chair, I’m mentoring other stylists through hands-on education and shadowing. Watching other artists grow and step into their own confidence behind the chair is one of my greatest joys.
